Have you ever started doing something that you really don't like but kept doing it out of necessity and over time you grew to love it? There should be a word for that! If you have one go ahead and throw it out there. For me it was laying sod. Hated it! Grueling, hot, and dirty, like doing a 100k bike ride along a desert road with a head wind. Somewhere along the journey, when there was space to breathe, I could step back and say that transformation from dirt to grass really looks good. We are creating beauty out of this ugly old dirt. Ultimately it was finding meaning in the menial that laid the ground work for bringing this business to life. We are here to create areas that are beautiful, natural, and peaceful.
